 VENASQUE The village is perched on a sheer-sided rock and was the 1st village to be built round the mount of vaucluse. It is 12 km from its closest town of Carpentras. You can't miss the visit to saracen towers, the church of Notre Dame or the famous baptistry which was built in the 5th century. Without doubt the panoramic views from the village towards Mount Ventoux will stay in our mind until your next visit. |
